Manages day to day hot springs pool operations.
Manages the development and delivery of the visitor experience program through a client/visitor and market/business-centered approach to enhance and ensure visitor satisfaction, enjoyment and connection to place.
Manages a site characterized by program and operational challenges with issues of moderate complexity and scope.
We are seeking: a dynamic individual with good judgment and integrity, who takes responsibility, makes things happen and strives for excellence to work as the Radium Hot Springs Pools Team Leader.
As Team Leader, you will:
• Lead the Radium Hot Springs Pools team in providing visitors a safe and enjoyable experience to the hot springs.
• Present to Canadians a site that was instrumental in the decision to create the Park that surrounds it.
Key objectives over the coming years will be to focus on enhancing visitation to the site, maintaining the high standards of service and conservation for which Parks Canada is world renowned, and pursing opportunities to profile the facility to Canadians where they live and learn.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with specialization in business administration, marketing, recreation, leisure studies, tourism or other discipline relevant to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
EXPERIENCE
• Recent* and significant** experience managing financial and human resources. Includes experience in directly supervising staff, leading teams, managing their performance, managing budgets and forecasting.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
• Recent* and significant** experience planning and managing a pool and/or hot springs services and operations related to the provision of high-quality visitor experience.
• Experience in determining visitor services requirements and developing and implementing plans based on visitor trends, data, and use management issues, including evaluating program/project effectiveness.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform and personal safety equipment.
• Willingness to travel and/or work in a variety of weather conditions for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work weekends, statutory holidays and irregular hours.
