Work environment
📝Please note this position is located at the Bonnyville Detachment in Bonnyville, Alberta and there will be a requirement for presence in the office 5 days per week.
Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to staff one (1) permanent position in Bonnyville, Alberta.
This process will be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates. The pool may be used to staff similar indeterminate, term or acting positions with various security requirements and tenures, which may vary accordingly to the position being staffed.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

Operational Requirements

OR1 - Willingness and ability to work in a busy police environment, including exposure to unsettling and/or graphic material.
OR2 - Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.
OR3 - Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes using various modes of transportation.
OR4 - Willingness and ability to maintain a valid class 5 driver's license.

Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience*

EX1 - Experience providing services to internal and external clients over the phone, in person and in writing.
EX2 - Experience providing administrative support services including data entry, filing and preparing documents such as briefing notes and/or reports.
EX3 - Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
