Intent of the process
This process will be used to staff two indeterminate full-time positions in Regina, Saskatchewan. A qualified pool of candidates may be established and used to staff similar positions with various tenures (i.e. indeterminate, term, deployment).Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.Successful applicant is required to work in Regina, Saskatchewan. Telework or alternate work locations will not be an option.

Security clearance: Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Enhanced Reliability StatusPossession of an Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) from the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists with declared competencies in the areas of: clinical psychologist, counselling psychology, or forensic/correction psychologyWilling and able to work overtimeWilling and able to travelPossession of a valid Canadian Driver’s licence equivalent to a Class 5 in the province of the position or the personal mobility to the extent normally associated with the possession of a valid Class 5 driver's license

Graduation with a master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in personnel psychology, psychometrics, industrial psychology, clinical psychology or some other specialty relevant to the position
Note: The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and must have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization.

Registration for autonomous practice of psychology by a province or territorial registering/licensing body in CanadaExperience in the provision of psychological services such as personality assessments, differential diagnosis or other psychological services, with adultsExperience in liaising with external mental health providers and specialists

Preference will be given to veterans first, followed by Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of jobs located in Nunavut or Yukon. For positions located in Nunavut, qualified Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement will be appointed first. For positions located in Yukon, qualified Yukon First Nations will be appointed first, followed by qualified Indigenous persons.
