Duties
📋Do you like a challenge when you come to work? If so, the position of a Benefits Analyst could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will receive a high volume of incoming calls from our clients and stakeholders in a fast paced call centre environment. Due to the high volume of requests you will learn how to prioritize. You will be responding to inquiries over the phone and processing fax requests. This could be an opportunity for you to develop new skills and further develop skills you already have; such skills include attention to detail, improved computer skills, communication skills, conflict management, workload management and prioritization.
Work environment🤝 Non-Insured Health Benefits is a unit of Indigenous Services Canada which is the Federal department responsible for helping First Nations and Inuit people of Canada to maintain and improve their health, while respecting individual choices and circumstances.

Intent of the process
📌 A pool of qualified or partially assessed candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements, various security requirements, various conditions of employment, various tenures (acting, assignment/secondment, deployment, term and/or indeterminate), and in various locations within Indigenous Services Canada, Saskatchewan Region.

However, meeting these criteria is desirable and may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In the event that there are as many applicants who meet the essential qualifications as there are vacancies, the manager may decide not to assess some or all of the asset qualifications.
7) Candidates will be asked to provide proof of their education credentials and proof of citizenship (original documents only) at the assessment stage of this process. Failure to do so may result in your application not being considered further in the selection process.

9) Interview will be administered.
10) Reference checks will be sought.

Asset Qualifications
Experience:
Experience working effectively with First Nations, Inuit, or Métis.
