About the position
DutiesThe successful candidate will provide procurement and administrative support services to military and civilian clients at 4 Wing Cold Lake while supporting the PG-04 Wing Procurement Manager in the delivery of procurement services across the Wing. Primary duties include assisting clients with the procurement of goods and services, establishing and managing Standing Offers and Supply Arrangements, preparing procurement documentation, coordinating approvals, maintaining procurement records, monitoring requests throughout the procurement process, and providing guidance on established policies and procedures. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Government of Canada and Department of National Defence policies. The incumbent will establish Standing Offers and Supply Arrangements to support recurring requirements, liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders, track procurement actions, maintain electronic records, and assist the PG-04 Wing Procurement Manager with procurement planning and workload management. Employees can expect a dynamic work environment where priorities may shift quickly to support operational and training requirements associated with one of Canada's busiest fighter wings.
The position is located at 4 Wing Cold Lake, one of Canada's largest and busiest operational air force bases and home to Canada's fighter force.
