ASSET EXPERIENCE:
o Experience of corporate or commercial law with complex transactions and deal structures
o Experience of corporate or commercial law with investment instruments such as loans, advances, guarantees and equity, infrastructure development practice, including strategic and structuring advice, negotiation and drafting.
o Experience of corporate or commercial law with natural resource or energy sector-specific expertise, as well as some knowledge of the interplay of financial considerations with Indigenous and regulatory considerations.
o Experience of corporate or commercial law with IT and procurement law, including drafting and negotiating complex IT contracts, Cybersecurity and incident response with experience in technology procurements and knowledge of emerging technology (AI, automation, cybersecurity)
o Experience in commercial leasing, including negotiation and drafting of leases and leasehold improvement agreements
o Experience on complex major projects or in litigation on Aboriginal law matters
o Approximately five (5) years of experience in one of the following areas of law:
• corporate or commercial law with complex transactions and deal structures
• corporate or commercial law with investment instruments such as loans, advances, guarantees and equity, infrastructure development practice, including strategic and structuring advice, negotiation and drafting
• corporate or commercial law with natural resource or energy sector-specific expertise, as well as some knowledge of the interplay of financial considerations with Indigenous and regulatory considerations.
