Intent of the process
The results of this process will initially be used to staff one (1) position indeterminately. The position being staffed is bilingual non-imperative CBC/ CBC, thus, we encourage both bilingual and unilingual candidates, who are interested in becoming bilingual, to apply.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions on an indeterminate, determinate or acting basis, within Transport Canada.

🌟INVENTORIES
The inventory will be updated every 90 days. You will receive a notice in your applicant account 7 days before the end of your active period to confirm whether or not you wish to keep being considered for an additional 90 days. 📝APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
You must submit a complete application, consisting of a résumé, a motivation letter (800 to 1200 words, maximum 2 pages, explaining what motivated you to apply and what makes you the ideal candidate for the position) as well as responses to screening questions which clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience factors listed under the essential qualifications, as well as any of the asset qualifications that may apply.
For each experience criterion, please provide concrete examples including the following information:
1. Name of the organization where the experience was acquired;
2. Title of the position occupied and duration (including dates) for which you exercised the functions;
3. Specific details of tasks, projects, or accomplishments demonstrating how the experience was acquired.
The information you provide in your responses to the screening questions need to be supported by your resume. Failure to provide the required information may result in your application being rejected.
The screening questions will be used as the primary tool in the screening process and the resume will be used to substantiate the information provided. Applications that do not clearly demonstrate how the screening criteria are met will be eliminated from consideration.
Please note that the screening questions and cover letter may be used to assess written communication.
📌Notes on Asset Qualifications:
- Asset qualifications are not mandatory qualifications to the position. You do not need to answer the screening questions for the asset qualifications. However, if you meet one or more, you are strongly encouraged to answer asset qualifications questions in your online application as they may be used at any stage in the process or be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be considered for an appointment.
- Definitions for significant experience and broad knowledge remain the same for essential qualifications and assets.
