Duties
Ready to lead with purpose?
Join the Defence Community Support and Resource Centre (DCSRC) and help guide a dedicated team delivering compassionate, trauma-informed support to Defence community members affected by sexual misconduct and/or racism.
The Team Lead, Response and Support Coordination position provides operational leadership, guidance, and supervision to a team of Case Coordinators who deliver case management, emotional support, and service coordination to clients. The Team Lead is responsible for supporting employees in managing complex client situations, ensuring service delivery aligns with DCSRC policies and principles, fostering a trauma-informed and client-centred approach, and contributing to the continuous improvement of programs and services.
Work environment
DCSRC provides confidential, trauma-informed support to members of the Defence community affected by sexual misconduct and/or racism. The Centre serves current and former Canadian Armed Forces members, Department of National Defence employees, Canadian Coast Guard personnel, Cadets, Junior Canadian Rangers, and eligible family members aged 16 and older. Operating independently from the military chain of command, the DCSRC delivers client-centred, accessible, and confidential services.
The Response and Support Coordination Team provides confidential emotional support, case coordination, and guidance tailored to each individual's needs, priorities, and goals. Using a client-centred, trauma-informed, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive approach, the team helps clients explore available options and access appropriate supports and resources.
