Intent of the process
This is an anticipatory staffing process, as management is forecasting future employment opportunities in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
It is intended to proactively establish a pool of qualified candidates, including Public Service (PS) employees and Civilian Members (CM). This pool may be used to staff identical or similar positions on either a temporary or permanent basis. If you wish to be considered for future opportunities, you are encouraged to apply to this process.
Note: This staffing process is limited to positions located in Nova Scotia. If you are interested in opportunities in other provinces across Canada, please monitor the GC Jobs website and apply directly to those postings. Participation in this process does not provide eligibility for positions outside of Nova Scotia.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).

• An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE
EX1. Experience reviewing and applying policies, directives, or guidelines to determine compliance or eligibility.
EX2. Experience managing the incoming flow of information and determining the appropriate action and/or priority.
EX3. Experience providing administrative support to a manager (i.e. scheduling meetings, managing a calendar, sending invitations, agenda preparation, taking meeting minutes, records of decisions, resolving scheduling conflicts, travel arrangements, optimizing time etc.)
