Intent of the process
This is an anticipatory staffing process, as management is forecasting future employment opportunities in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
It is intended to proactively establish a pool of qualified candidates, including Public Service (PS) employees and Civilian Members (CM). This pool may be used to staff identical or similar positions on either a temporary or permanent basis. If you wish to be considered for future opportunities, you are encouraged to apply to this process.
Note: This staffing process is limited to positions located in Nova Scotia. If you are interested in opportunities in other provinces across Canada, please monitor the GC Jobs website and apply directly to those postings. Participation in this process does not provide eligibility for positions outside of Nova Scotia.
Applicants are encouraged to apply only if they are able to relocate to, or commute to, the advertised location of work.
Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.
