About the position
Intent of the process
A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within the Department of Justice with various tenures, various linguistic requirements, various operational requirements and/or various conditions of employment.
Please note that if successful and offered a position, you will be required to relocate to the location of the position in either Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon or Winnipeg.

You need (essential for the job)
Your application must clearly explain how you meet the following
EDUCATION:
Completion of a recognized legal assistant program or
one year experience as a legal assistant in a law office.
Learn more about degree equivalency.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience providing legal assistant support in a law
office within the last two years.
Applied / assessed at a later date
KNOWLEDGE:
K.1 Knowledge of legal terminology and legal documents.
K.2 Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
COMPETENCIES:

ABILITIES:
A.1 Ability to prepare routine correspondence and
routine legal documents
