DutiesAs a Civil Aviation Safety Inspector, you play a critical role in ensuring the safety of Canadaβs air navigation system. You will oversee compliance with the Aeronautics Act and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) by assessing operations, identifying risks, and working closely with industry and government partners.
Your responsibilities include:
πPlanning and conducting aviation safety oversight activities such as inspections, audits, assessments, and validations.
πExercising delegated Ministerial authority and overseeing delegated authorities.
πIdentifying, assessing, and documenting aviation safety risks, and recommending effective riskβmanagement solutions.
πReviewing operational and technical documentation, evaluating performance, and preparing briefing notes and correspondence.
πEngaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management, industry representatives, and internal and external partners.
πCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a nationally integrated aviation safety oversight program.
πSupporting and promoting Transport Canada and Government of Canada priorities across technical and operational domains.
