About the position

Work environment
The Operational Records Management Systems (ORMS) unit is looking for individuals who want to play a part in shaping the future of the RCMP by providing quality training and support to users of our National Operational Records Management System (RMS). We are a small team of subject matter experts for the RCMP’s main RMS who play a vital role in supporting our colleagues at RCMP Detachments/Units, across the division, by providing high quality training and support. If you are self-motivated, love the idea of teaching, mentoring and supporting colleagues across Alberta, while working independently within a supportive team, the ORMS Trainer/Field Support/Analyst role will be perfect for you!
Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to staff a position on a indeterminate basis in various locations across Alberta, and create a pool of qualified candidates. The pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (i.e. indeterminate, term, deployment, acting, assignment and secondment) within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.
