About the position

Intent of the process
"The immediate need is to create a pool of qualified candidates to staff temporary and/or permanent positions, (including term, acting appointments and assignments). This pool may also be used to staff similar positions, with various language and security requirements.
**Preference will be given to Indigenous peoples.**
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance - of the RCMP.

EXPERIENCE
Experience in collecting, consolidating and analyzing information from various sources in order to prepare briefing materials or reports that provide recommendations or strategies for senior management.
Experience in managing, coordinating, tracking, and monitoring the development and implementation of projects and/or plans.
Experience establishing and maintaining partnerships, including consultation and collaboration, with internal and external stakeholders to deliver improved business outcomes on a variety of initiatives.
Experience with computer systems and software such as TEAM, PeopleSoft, Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS), Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong understanding of strategic planning theory and principles.
Knowledge of Indigenous peoples, traditions, culture, and ways of being.
