DutiesThe Chief of Business Operations leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering customer service, financial and administrative support, housing services, front desk operations, maintenance coordination, and complaint resolution.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage financial services by developing budgets, projections, and local financial plans; analyze performance using financial systems, prepare regular reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee office operations, including procurement, equipment and supplies, and records management.
- Monitor and analyze tenant complaints, coordinate with experts, and track resolutions.
- Collect and validate information, draft proposals, and develop local procedures to support customer-focused housing services.
- Identify and resolve issues before they escalate into formal complaints, researching and applying approaches as needed.
- Provide advice on policies, processes, and agreements.

We are a team of 380 federal public servants who work hard to meet the needs of the Canadian Armed Forces families living in DND housing. We have close to 230 employees at our Housing Services Centers across Canada and 150 employees at our Head Office in Ottawa.
CFHA Borden is a dynamic team of 11 full-time employees. We work together to provide housing services to approximately 675 Canadian Forces families.
