About the position

Duties
MMEL Senior Engineer
Transport Canada directly contributes to the Safety and Security of Canadians on a daily basis.
What you will be doing as MMEL Senior Engineer in the Civil Aviation Branch at Transport Canada:
๐Ÿ‘‰ You will plan, coordinate, and/or execute the delivery of the Civil Aviation safety oversight program through the provision of MMEL related engineering specialist services on aeronautical product development, design certification and continuing airworthiness.
๐Ÿ‘‰ You will review MMEL for Canadian aircraft, prepare MMEL Supplements for foreign aircraft; and develop MMEL Supplements and Addendums for modifications to both Canadian and foreign aircraft.
๐Ÿ‘‰ You will review and assess MMEL justification data analysis provided by the applicant.
๐Ÿ‘‰ As an MMEL engineering specialist, you will support the development of the regulatory update led by the Standards Branch and participate in international and domestic committees and working groups.
๐Ÿ‘‰ You will provide specialized MMEL related engineering and operational advice to Civil Aviation staff, Transport Canada, other government departments, delegates, the aviation industry, associations, international airworthiness organizations and the public on the application of regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
