• Medical clearance
• TDG certification within 6 months
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime
• CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months

You need (essential for the job)

Your application must clearly explain how you meet the following
Education:
Successful completion of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program.

Learn more about degree equivalency.

Occupational Certification:
Active registration with CSMLS and CMLTM or pending exam results.
Experience:
• Experience in a hospital environment.
Applied / assessed at a later date
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of lab safety, phlebotomy, testing procedures, and equipment preparation.
Abilities:
• Ability to respond to routine and emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing.

Asset Qualification
• Minimum 2 years working in a core laboratory.
• Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis.
• Experience with First Nations, Inuit, or Métis.
