Intent of the process
๐Ÿ“ŒThis selection process will initially be used to staff one (1) vacant, indeterminate full-time position. A pool of qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar CR-04/ SPS-CK-04 positions on a temporary or permanent full-time basis.
In order to be considered for an assignment or secondment you must have permission to be released from your substantive position. Please consult with your Manager.
Should a CM be found qualified and selected for the temporary opportunity, it will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.
Important messages
Persons with a priority entitlement may self-refer if interested in the CR-04/SPS-CK-04 position and will be considered in priority to all other applicants.
1) You are required to complete screening questions that clearly demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria of education, experience and any asset education and asset experience if applicable. Your response must include HOW (concrete examples), WHEN (dates) and WHERE (location of work) you meet the essential criteria required. Conditions of employment

Top Secret security clearance - RCMP Top Secret Security Clearance.
Valid provincial driver's license or personal mobility to the degree normally associated with a driver's license.
๐Ÿ“ข NOTE: Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain RCMP security clearance involves a security/reliability interview and a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity which includes reference checks, verification of credit/financial status, education, employment, etc. As such, the process may take several weeks or months to complete.
