About the position

Duties
The Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator plays a central role in supporting Build Canada Homes’ (BCH) engagement with the public and stakeholders, ensuring inquiries and interactions are smooth, well-organized, and professional. They are integral to strengthening relationships, building trust, and ensuring that BCH remains accessible, responsive, and well-coordinated in its communications and engagement activities.
The Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator will manage and monitor public inquiries, serving as the first point of contact for individuals seeking to engage with BCH. With a strong attention to detail and sound judgment, they will respond to frequently asked questions, triage inquiries to the appropriate internal teams, help stakeholders navigate BCH processes, and ensure timely and accurate follow-ups.
Beyond inquiry management, the Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator will support engagement activities by coordinating virtual meetings and assisting with logistics for in-person meetings and conferences. This includes scheduling meetings, preparing materials, tracking attendance, and supporting follow-up actions to ensure engagements are well-organized and productive.
Work environment
Build Canada Homes (BCH) is a new federal agency dedicated to building affordable housing at scale. BCH will leverage public lands, offer flexible financial incentives, attract private capital, facilitate large portfolio projects, and support modern manufacturers to build the homes that Canadians need.
BCH offers a dynamic environment for forward-thinking professionals who thrive on challenge and are driven to make a difference. This is a unique opportunity to join an emerging federal organization. As BCH launches, you can contribute your skills and help shape its evolution while taking pride in supporting the advancement of a key government priority.
