🏢 In line with Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) direction, the Department of National Defence has adopted a common hybrid work model where employees work at their designated worksite at least 3 days each week, or 60% of their regular schedule. Some positions may require full-time on-site presence.

EDUCATION
▶ ED1. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in education, linguistics, sociology, psychology, mathematics, physics, home economics or some other specialty relevant to the positions in the classification.

▶ EX2. Experience conducting learning and education needs assessment to identify gaps, priorities, or learner requirements.
STREAM 1 ONLY - Instructional designer:
▶ EX3. Experience designing, developing and evaluating instructional materials for adult learners using various delivery methods (virtual, in-class, online, blended).
▶ EX4. Experience using a systems approach or instructional systems design (ISD) methodology to plan, design, evaluate, and improve training programs or learning initiatives for adult learners.
STREAM 2 ONLY - Educational Specialist:
▶ EX5. Experience reviewing curriculum, program content, and learning materials to ensure alignment with objectives, standards, and organizational priorities.
▶ EX6. Experience supporting the delivery of learning programs and adapting content or methods based on evaluation findings or organizational requirements.
