Duties
📢 Here are some of the duties for this warehouse job:
o Receiving Goods – Unload deliveries, verify receipts, and sort items accurately.
o Inventory Management – Use inventory systems to track and update asset records.
o Storage & Organization – Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
o Equipment Operation – Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
o Vehicle Maintenance – Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including battery removal, replacement, and charging; vehicle boosting; and tire inflation or replacement.

➨ An as and when casual position means that the hired candidate follows an as-needed schedule, which means that he or she will be called upon to work when needed and that he or she will be paid only for the hours worked.

➨ You must think outside the box, able to multitask, are highly organized and are passionate about

➨ This position offers up to 90 days of work per year, with hours to match business needs. Hours aren’t guaranteed, but the flexibility makes it ideal for those wanting occasional employment.
➨ Must possess the physical ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including unloading trailers (occasionally by hand), sorting goods, and working for extended periods while standing, lifting, and bending on concrete surfaces.

Conditions of employment

· Valid driver's licence
· Eligible to obtain a forklift operator certification
· Capacity to physically move and process items up to 50 lbs.

Operational Requirements

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Be willing and able to work overtime on short notice.
Be willing and able to complete local travel if required

· Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
