About the position
Duties
Working under supervision of Interpretation Officer/Coordinators, the Student Heritage Presenter delivers interpretive presentations, programs and activities that engage Canadians and other visitors in the learning, enjoyment, connection to, and appreciation of the natural and cultural heritage of the Cave and Basin and Banff Park Museum National Historic Sites.
This position is responsible for:
• Presenting meaningful and enjoyable interpretation programs and activities that enhance the overall visitor experience of the national historic sites
• Perform cashier duties, sell permits
• Greet and orient visitors; deliver reception, orientation, public safety and visitor experience information
• Participate in the coordination and delivery of after-hours special events and private functions
Intent of the process
The results may be used in the future to fill other temporary student vacancies that may arise in the Banff Field Unit, in various locations, with full or part-time hours for various tenures, depending on status of the selected candidate.

EXPERIENCE IN:
• Providing front-line customer service by responding to inquiries and offering guidance and information
• Performing operational logistics including following opening and closing procedures
