✏️ Duties of a Transportation Security Inspector include conducting aviation security oversight activities, taking enforcement action and providing educational expertise to stakeholders with regards to regulatory compliance of legislative requirements.
Under the TI Recruitment and Development Program at Transport Canada, candidates start the program at the entry level TI-05 and are expected to graduate at the TI-06 level. Upon completion of the requisite training and experience requirements, candidates will be assessed for the next level of the program and will be appointed to the TI-06 level should they meet all the essential qualifications. Generally, recruits spend a minimum of 12 months in the program.
🍁The successful candidate will follow Transport Canada's hybrid work guidance for inspectors working in the field to ensure compliance with the work arrangement agreement and minimum number of on-site days per week, as required by the Treasury Board Secretariat for federal employees.
📢 Anticipatory: A pool of qualified candidates will be created and used to staff future permanent or temporary vacancies.
In the event that an employee of the public service (federal) is qualified through this process, the employee may be considered for acting, deployment, assignment or secondment opportunities.

✅ Required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
