One of the positions being staffed for a term contract is for the Manager responsible for Corporate Communications. The role will manage a small team of communications professionals and will oversee internal communications, the intranet site, President’s Office communications and employee events and activities.
The other position being staffed for a one year term is the Manager responsible for Ministerial Events and Media Relations. That role also manages a small team of communications professionals and oversees all ministerial events and announcements, including communications with stakeholders and media relations.

Education
• A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field, or a combination of experience and education.
Experience
• Significant* experience in strategic communications, including planning, delivery and execution.
• Experience managing, coaching and/or mentorship to junior or intermediate communication professionals.
• Experience providing briefings (verbal and/or written) to senior** management.
*Significant is understood to mean the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex, related activities for a minimum of two (2) years.
**Senior management is defined as EX-01, EX-02 and above.
Knowledge
• Knowledge of event management practices (i.e., logistics, marketing, product and program development).
• Knowledge of communication practices (i.e., how to effectively convey information and engage with stakeholders, utilizing tools and strategies to foster engagement)
