The case management officer is responsible for providing assistance, conveying information, processing requests, and issuing CFIA licences and permits. They also make decisions regarding import eligibility. As part of processing a request, the officer may be required to create, renew, or amend a permit or licence through the My CFIA online services and provide support by phone, or by email.
