Indian Oil and Gas Canada manages and regulates oil and gas resources on designated First Nation lands across Canada. We are a non-unionized special operating agency within Indigenous Services Canada. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
Graduation with a post-secondary diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in business administration, commerce, finance or another specialization relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in operational accounting

Experience in production accounting reporting and royalty reporting

Experience in financial reconciliation and verification activities

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of oil and gas operations
• Knowledge of Petrinex application
• Knowledge of computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and presentation programs.

Completion of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accounting (CAPPA) certificate program, or completion of levels toward the certificate

Experience working with Indigenous Peoples.
