Education
• Graduation with a degree in forestry or wood science from a recognized post-secondary institution or
• Graduation with a degree in a related science from a recognized post-secondary institution combined with acceptable experience.

Degree equivalency

· Coordinating projects
· Preparing and delivering presentations
· Providing technical support to clients
· Working with the Carbon Budget Model of the Canadian Forest Sector (CBM-CFS3) and/or Generic Carbon Budget Model (GCBM)
· Technical writing of reports, guides, or other publications

Information on language requirements

Knowledge
· Of the theories and principles of forest science, silviculture, forest management, and ecology
· Of forest inventory and analysis

· Design detailed charts, covers, graphs or maps for publication using a variety of techniques
· To organize work and establish priorities to meet deadlines
· To identify and analyse problems and recommend viable solutions

· Willing and able to work overtime as required and to adopt flexible work hours as per operational requirements
