The Property Manager/Leasing Officer works with a property management team to perform, but is not limited to, the following duties:
• Plan and coordinate the delivery of services related to buildings and facilities within the RCMP’s premises inventory;
• Manage a financial budget;
• Analyze needs, objectives, and data to provide recommendations to management and/or clients;
• Develop, review, and approve proposals, plans, and strategies for property and asset management, as well as funding approval documents within their financial delegation limits;
• Comply with government priorities regarding environmental, health, and safety matters, and stay informed about trends, innovations, and new technologies in real property and facilities management to optimize the use of resources and minimize costs;
• Negotiate the terms of service agreements, leases, and contracts with consultants, contractors, and service providers, and manage these agreements;
• Provide advice on resolving claims and disputes related to contracts.
The intent of this process is to fill the following positions located in Westmount, Quebec:
• STREAM 1: Two (2) full-time, indeterminate Property Manager positions;
• STREAM 2 (ANTICIPATORY): One (1) full-time, indeterminate Leasing Officer position.
