Oversee and deliver visitor services operations in a fast-paced environment
• Training, scheduling and supervision of staff
• Oversee operation of entry gates, day use areas, and campgrounds (front country, back country, Yurts)
• Providing customer service and sales
• Revenue/data collection, analysis, and presentation
Coordinate with other teams on service delivery, public safety, prevention and facility maintenance

Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park are located at the tip of the Saugeen (Bruce) Peninsula in the Territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation. The two parks are known for the rugged shoreline scenery, turquoise water, historic shipwrecks, and incredible natural diversity. Located just a few hours’ drive from the Greater Toronto Area, the parks welcome approximately 750,000 visitors per year coming for inspiration, recreation, and connection with nature.
You will be supervising a dynamic team consisting of over 20 front-line staff at various locations in the Parks. We are looking for a motivated, organized, compassionate leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills to support our team’s commitment to service excellence, and a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace.
This process may be used to create a pool of qualified candidates to staff similar position(s) with various tenures, security levels and/or language requirements or in different locations.

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience:
• One or more years of combined experience in providing leadership for a diverse team of 5 or more individuals. (Experience should include training individuals, assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, providing feedback and support, or other relevant experience.)
• One or more years of combined experience in providing customer service in a fast-pace, high-volume environment.

Operational Requirements:
• Stand, walk, hike for prolonged periods (50-75%)

• Be exposed to stress when responding to fluctuating, unpredictable visitor demands and requirements
• Supervise a team consisting of over 20 persons at various locations within the park.
• Wear a Parks Canada uniform and abide by the uniform policy
• Work irregular hours, overtime, weekends and/or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays
• Possession or willingness to obtain a valid First Aid and CPR (level C and AED)
• Obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance
• Possess and maintain a valid Class G drivers license
