Duties

The main duties are:
- Administer and manage the centralized Learning Management System (LMS).
- Oversee the LMS support inbox and resolve complex issues.
- Investigate and address technical issues reported by clients.
- Test and deploy new features and document solutions.
- Provide feedback on existing processes for streamlining/improvement.
- Develop online courses in collaboration with a learning team.

Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one (1) term/indeterminate position, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB.

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

EXPERIENCES
EX1. *Recent experience in administering a learning management system (LMS) such as Brightspace.
* Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the last three years

EX2. **Significant experience in developing online training.
**Significant experience usually refers to the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with the development of 4 online courses. However, depending on the scope, complexity and diversity of the work performed, as well as the level of direct responsibility for the development of online training, a smaller number could be considered.

EX3. **Significant experience in performing diagnostics to resolve issues related to the use of an LMS and related to the development of training.
**Significant experience usually refers to the breadth and depth of the experience normally associated with solving 3 cases.

EX4. *Recent experience in conducting the quality control of learning products according to a predefined list of criteria.
* Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within the last three years

EX5. **Significant experience in formulating technical advice and recommendations for clients.
Significant** experience usually refers to the breadth and depth of experience normally associated with 2 or more situations.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
AEX1. Experience as a Brightspace administrator.
AEX2. Exprience with Course Merchant or Training Orchestra in conjunction with Brightspace.
AEX3. *Recent and **significant experience in designing and integrating multimedia elements in various environments using tools from the Adobe Creative Suite, in accordance with accessibility standards.

K1. Knowledge of developing online training from a storyboard using web programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap).
K2. Knowledge of administering a Learning Management System

CA1. Ability to analyze the workflow and provide options and improvement recommendations to their supervisor.
CA2. Ability to plan and organize multiple requests and competing priorities.
CA3. Ability to develop online training and work efficiently while implementing best practices in multimedia development.
CA4. Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
CA5. Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
