Duties

Delivers interpretive presentations, programs and activities to provide visitors of the park, historic site or marine conservation area with opportunities to discover, appreciate, learn about and enjoy the place and its natural and/or cultural resources and understand their significance to Canada.

Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff a temporary position from June to November, 2025.
This process may be used to create a list of qualified candidates to staff similar positions with various tenures in the same or other areas.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful completion of a minimum of two years post-secondary education in natural sciences, education, history, geography or parks and recreation, or an acceptable combination of education and training.

Degree equivalency

• Experience in the planning and delivery of educational, environmental, cultural or historical programs to a variety of audiences

• Experience receiving, orienting and informing a variety of visitors/clients.

• Experience working with computers, including the Microsoft Office suite of software

• Knowledge of Churchill, MB and the surrounding area, specifically pertaining to its structure and functions, geographic features, its flora and fauna, and its cultural history
