The Director General of Corporate Services (DGCS) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is accountable for providing executive leadership for analyzing, planning, organizing, developing, delivering and providing a comprehensive array of strategic, corporate, operational and administrative policies, programs, guidelines, directives, plans, frameworks, processes and services to support and enhance the capacity of FedNor.
Along with the corporate financial leadership responsibilities, the incumbent has oversight on Human Resources, Information Technologies, Facilities & Security Management, and Procurement.

Education:
– Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a specialty related to the position being staffed; AND a designation bestowed by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
Experience:
– Experience in setting strategic direction and providing strategic advice to Ministers or Deputy Ministers, or equivalent (President, CEO, etc.), on financial issues related to broader organizational and external facing priorities.
– Experience at the Director level in leading financial and corporate services including areas such as: Materiel Management, Information Management, Financial Management, Accounting Operations, Facilities Management, Security Services, Human Resources and Procurement.
– Experience in managing significant financial and complex human resources matters.
Asset Qualifications:
– Experience in collaborating and maintaining partnerships, and in building consensus around issues with colleagues and senior officials from various agencies, such as federal departments, other orders of governments, the private sector or other stakeholders.
