Information on employment equity
The Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) is a federal initiative for youth between the ages of 15 and 30. It supports the creation of employment opportunities, especially for youth facing barriers. The aim is to increase employment opportunities for young people so that they can gain work experience, develop their skills and expand their networks. As part of this initiative, Parks Canada seeks to create a diverse and inclusive workplace. That is why it encourages youth who face barriers to employment to apply, particularly Indigenous peoples, members of visible minorities and persons with disabilities.
