Duties

Reporting to the Director of Production, the Production Manager coordinates all production activities within their department, with team leaders reporting to them. They implement strategies to optimize efficiency, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. They are also responsible for health and safety, employee development, staffing, and achieving project objectives. As the main point of contact between management and team leaders, they develop the culture of their department and ensure the success of operations. Specifically, they must:

• Coordinate all production activities within your department, with team leaders under your supervision.
• Implement performance indicators and propose improvements and corrective actions when necessary.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with other managers to ensure uniform resource management and good interdepartmental collaboration.
• Establish performance, improvement, and annual budget objectives in collaboration with team leaders.
• Oversee production projects, ensure deadlines are met, and promote quick problem resolution.
• Supervise team leaders and develop team skills and versatility.
• Plan short- and medium-term human, material, and technological resource needs and collaborate on staff retention.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality, and internal rules.
• Maintain a healthy and dynamic work environment based on participative management and continuous improvement.
