The co-working professional, better known as coPro, is the on-site contact at each GC co-working location.
The coPros are there to guide GC co-working users in their experience and create a sense of community by encouraging co-creation, collaboration and communication; they play a key role in the GC co-working user experience. They assist users with administrative requests, provide regular reports to management, organize events and monitor their respective sites to ensure that they are being used to their full potential. Among other tasks, the coPro:
• Is a health and safety officer and first aid
• Is an ambassador of the GC workplace vision
• Ensures on-site communications
• Created usage reports
• Creates user experience reports
• Provides technical support
• Administrative support for projects

Intent of the process

A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada in the National Capital Region with various language requirements, security requirements and/or tenures.
