The screening questions will be used as the primary tool in the screening process and the résumé will be used to substantiate the information provided.

Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff two indeterminate positions with PPB/BBB linguistic profile.

A pool of partially assessed or fully qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within the Department of Justice with various tenures, linguistic profiles, operational requirements, organizational needs and/or conditions of employment.

EDUCATION:
ED - A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to the duties of the position* OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

*Examples of acceptable related fields include but are not limited to English, French, Translation, Communications, etc.

If you were educated outside of Canada, you must have your certificates and/or diplomas assessed against Canadian education standards through a recognized credential assessment service. Please see the Degree equivalency link for further information.

EXPERIENCE:
EX1 - Experience in writing, editing, and proofreading official documents* in a work setting

*Official documents include but are not limited to briefing materials, presentations, and correspondence.

ASSET EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
AEX1 - Experience using a correspondence management software (CCM Enterprise, WEBCIMS, etc.)
AEX2 - Experience working in a unit* providing front line services to the office of a Senior Official**

*Examples of such unit are Correspondence Units, Liaison Units, Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs Units, or similar
**Senior official is defined as Assistant Deputy Minister, or equivalent, or above.

Preference
