An example of day-to-day duties would include operating a forklift, managing a small shipping/receiving department, inventory management, cubicle furniture assembly, periodic use of power tools, video teleconferencing management, and the provision of technical support to clients. Successful candidates chosen for one of these positions will receive orientation training related to the video teleconferencing (VTC) portion of this position.

The initial intent of this process is to fill two (2) indeterminate, English essential positions located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The positions will require a full-time, on-site presence.
A pool of partially or essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process and used to staff identical or similar positions with various employment tenures (temporary and permanent), language profiles, operational requirements, and conditions of employment at the Department of National Defence.

COE1. Possession of a valid provincial unrestricted Class 5 driver’s license.
COE2. Must be able to obtain and retain a DND 404 driver’s license.
COE3. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks (including lifting and carrying up to 23 kg, bending, and climbing stairs) in compliance with safety regulations.
COE4. Must be able to work in adverse conditions/environments which may include, but not limited to, confined spaces, heights, and adverse weather conditions.
COE5. Willing and able to wear CSA approved safety footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with safety regulations.
