Intent of the process

We currently have various needs for positions at the AS-03 and AS-04 level. Pools of partially or fully qualified candidates will be created to staff positions that are currently vacant and other future needs in GAC in the National Capital Region and other regional offices. The essential qualifications, the duration of employment, and the linguistic profiles may vary depending on the position to be staffed. Please read this poster carefully, as some qualifications are essential for ALL positions and others are only essential for SOME positions. Each branch will determine their needs for a position, and we will use these qualifications to determine the candidates to be referred for each position to be filled. Once GAC will have staffed all of their positions from this pool, other government departments may use the pool to staff similar positions upon GAC approval.
