As a Technical Analyst, your role will be to help the Agency’s various clients / stakeholders make better, informed decisions by changing and maintaining Corporate systems. In order to fulfill this role, the Analyst will be responsible for:
► Supporting new technologies implementation including COTS, Cloud and AI toolsets.
► Supporting the gathering and documentation of business requirements and translating these requirements into viable technology upgrades or maintenance.
► Support Senior IM/IT analysts to develop, design, implement and maintain Corporate software’s and Collaboration tools such as M365.
► Configure and manage M365 such as SharePoint by creating and managing sites, site collection features, groups using the admin center.
► Provide end-user support and coordination on different systems such as SharePoint, M365 applications, EDRMS and corporate systems.
► Contributing to the development, design, implementation and maintenance of corporate solutions (On-prem, SaaS, PaaS or IaaS).
► Create comprehensive user guides, manuals, and online help documentation for M365 and others corporate systems and applications.

🎓 EDUCATION
Successful completion of 2 years post-secondary educational (college or university) in computer science, information technology, information management or another field relevant to the position to be staffed or an acceptable combination of education, training and one year minimum of relevant experience in information technology.
✔️ EXPERIENCE
EX1. Experience implementing and integrating Software solutions in two (2) of these environments: SaaS, PaaS, IaaS on cloud. Such as: M365 Suite of applications; SaaS, PaaS, IaaS on cloud; COTS solutions.
EX2. Recent* experience providing end-user support and trouble shooting on related systems and tools, such as Open Text eDOCS, Power Apps, M365, etc.
EX3. Experience in managing and administering document management, collaboration or storage systems such as SharePoint.
EX4. Recent* experience in supporting IT projects.
EX5. Experience in technical writing such as Q&A, knowledge base article and procedure documentation.
*Recent experience is defined as an experience that was attained within the last three (3) years.

AEX1. Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI and more).

✔️ OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
► Willingness and ability to work overtime on weekends and evenings occasionally, sometimes with short notice.
Top Secret security clearance - You must be a Canadian Citizen and eligible for a Top Secret security clearance to FINTRAC's standards.
FINTRAC’s process includes a suitability interview, a credit and financial check, fingerprinting, a background investigation covering at least the last 10 years, as well as other assessments necessary to determine a candidate’s suitability for work at FINTRAC.
Candidates must be able to produce sufficient records to any period of time spent outside of Canada and may be subject to further assessment.
As needed, candidates may be required to submit security documentation and may be subject to security investigations at any phase of the selection process.
