Parks Canada is looking for a responsible, hardworking and dynamic individual to join the Southwest NWT Field Unit as External Relations Manager. In this exciting position, the Manager leads a team which is responsible for the development and delivery of the Field Unit’s external relations program including public outreach education, media relations, communications, promotions, internet content and new media, and partnering and engagement.

🎓EDUCATION
• Graduation with a degree or diploma from a recognized university or college with specialization in communications, public relations, journalism, education, business administration or other discipline relevant to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

•Experience in the development, delivery and management of strategies and programs in at least two of the following three fields: stakeholder and partner engagement; public outreach education; communications and public relations;
