This position is located at the Bells Corners Complex, situated within Ottawa’s Greenbelt, yet close to restaurants and shopping within the area of Bells Corners. Situated between Nepean and Kanata, we are close to the Bayshore bus station as well as the Eagleson/Terry Fox Park and Ride with bus access to the Complex. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, metallurgical engineering, or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
Experience:

Experience in carrying out technical projects which includes scope definition, specification definition, project scheduling, resource planning, providing conclusions and recommendations.
Experience working in an industrial or pilot plant environment.
Experience in designing, commissioning, or developing work and maintenance instructions for equipment.
Experience in designing, planning, coordinating, and conducting applied research and development in the field of bioenergy, biorefining, or emissions reductions.
Experience in technical report writing.
Experience in data analysis.

Experience using data analysis software to process large volumes of data, such as for the purpose of machine learning.
