• Graduation with a Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology from a recognized university.

• A member in good standing (or eligible to be a member) with a professional association or college.

• EXP1. Significant* experience in providing crisis intervention, assessment, short-term counselling, referral and follow-up with individuals with a mental health problem, personal or work-related issues.
• EXP2. Experience in providing mental health subject matter expertise, advice and guidance to key stakeholders on well-being and organizational development issues.
• EXP3. Experience in liaising with other internal services and community based health care professionals on client issues.
• EXP4. Experience coordinating and facilitating well-being learning activities such as workshops, mental health promotion events, town halls, information sessions and/or team building.
*Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of three to five years’ experience associated with the performance of a broad range of complex duties.

A variety of assessment tools may be used in the assessment of candidates. All information collected throughout the selection process from the submission of the application until the end of the process could be used to assess the candidates.
Any assessment method that is considered appropriate to determine whether a person meets the essential qualifications may be used in no specific order, such as but not limited to, take-home test, interviews, and reference checks.
Assessments will be conducted remotely.
During the application or assessment process, both cheating and plagiarism are considered forms of misconduct and are not permitted. Any person found cheating, including those who help others to cheat, may be subject to removal from the selection process.
