LAC’s Employment Equity Plan includes objectives for correcting the under-representation of designated groups under the Employment Equity Act (visible minorities, Aboriginal peoples, persons with a disability, women) within certain occupational groups. In the context of this selection process, employment equity may be used as an organizational need to fill one or more positions by a qualified person who is a member of a designated group. Accordingly, if you are a member of one of these designated groups and you wish to be considered for placement using the employment equity criterion, you must ensure you self-identify for this purpose at the time of application.
