HOW TO APPLY?
You must provide concrete and detailed examples to clearly demonstrate how you meet the EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE requirements listed in the essential qualifications section. The screening board cannot make any assumptions about your experience. It is not sufficient to say that you have the required qualifications or to list your current duties. Your answers may also be used to assess your ability to communicate effectively in writing. Your resume will be used as a secondary source of information to validate your experience. APPLICATIONS THAT DO NOT CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE THAT THE CANDIDATE MEETS THE SCREENING CRITERIA WILL NOT BE GIVEN FURTHER CONSIDERATION.
The Asset Qualifications contained in the Statement of Merit Criteria may be used as a screening/assessment tool. A candidate may be appointed to a position even though he/she does not meet any or all of the asset qualifications. However, meeting these criteria is desirable and may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
According to the Direction on prescribed presence in the workplace issued by Treasury Board Secretariat in December 2022, the employees must work from the office at least two days a week or 40% of their work week. A telework agreement must be discussed with your supervisor and may be cancelled or amended at any time by either party (the supervisor and/or employee) should the operational needs or the government policies change.
