The Asset Qualifications contained in the Statement of Merit Criteria may be used as a screening/assessment tool. A candidate may be considered for this list even if he or she does not meet an asset qualification. However, meeting these criteria is desirable and may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
According to the Direction on prescribed presence in the workplace issued by Treasury Board Secretariat in December 2022, the employees must work from the office at least two days a week or 40% of their work week. This process is intended to create and maintain a list of pre-qualified candidates to fill potential permanent (indeterminate) and/or temporary (determinate or secondment) vacant positions within the CDC. SECONDMENT: Temporary movement of a public service employee to the same group and level (or equivalent) to another organization of the core public administration that does not constitute a promotion and that does not extend the duration of employment.
