Intent of the process

📣 The results of this process will be used to fill one temporary vacancy and may be used in the future to fill permanent or temporary vacancies that may arise at the AS 01 group and level, in various locations, with full or part-time hours for various tenures, such as: Term, Acting Assignment or Assignment at level, depending on status of the selected candidate.

🎓EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training AND/OR experience in a field relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

💼EXPERIENCE
• Experience providing administrative support services in an office environment (ie: coordinating documents for approvals, coordinating meetings, taking meeting minutes, managing schedules, booking travel);
• Experience providing client service;
• Experience using email, internet, and standard office software (ie: MS Word, MS Excel);
• Experience preparing routine correspondence.

Conditions of employment

• Willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends and/or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays.
