What is an inventory?

When someone applies to an inventory, the Jobs.gc.ca system will automatically screen you in the inventory if you answer yes to all essential experiences and education. When the system retrieves your application in the inventory, it will randomly choose applicants with a screened-in status. If an applicant is randomly chosen through the request from the hiring manager, they will assess each of your answers on how you meet the experiences and education. With this specific inventory, you are eligible to be reassessed after six months, allowing you to update your answers and add information at any time. Please note you are not applying for a specific job but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
