The RCMP’s Pacific Region Training Centre requires a Computer Based Systems Educator to collaboratively work with a group of dynamic educators that create and deliver PRIME and Intellibook training to employees in E Division. The right candidate will have significant experience in PRIME and enjoys sharing their knowledge of the system and/or RCMP practices and processes with others. This candidate also enjoys teaching in a group setting and is aware of various facilitation techniques. Looking for a motivated team player to join our unit and assist in creating and delivering various Computer Based Training!
PRTC is located in the beautiful Fraser Valley in Chilliwack, B.C. which is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream, surrounded by mountains, rivers and hiking trails. Country living with just a short drive to the big city without the living expense!
The work is conducted in an office and classroom environment. Employees work Monday through Friday (9 hour shifts) with some flexibility to work variable hours for a positive work/life balance experience.
Intent of the process
The anticipated intent/result of this process is to indeterminately staff (on a full time basis) one position.
A qualified group of candidates may be identified and may be used to staff future permanent or temporary vacancies (including terms, actings, casuals, assignments and secondments) in similar-level positions (at full or part-time hours, including shift-work). Once established, the qualified pool will be valid for a period of one year and may be extended.

Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain an RCMP security clearance may involve, but is not limited to, a security/reliability interview, a field investigation regarding matters of criminal activity, verification of credit/financial status, reference checks, education, employment history, online activities, alcohol and/or drug use, etc., and may require certain residency requirements. If a qualified candidate has been selected and appointed on an indeterminate basis from the established pool, they will be removed from the pool. If a candidate is selected for a specified period (including term, acting, or assignment/secondment) appointment, they will remain in the pool for future offers.
