Intent of the process
This process will initially be used to staff one position on an indeterminate basis, and create a pool of qualified candidates. . This pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.
Important messages
In order to have your application considered, all screening questions must be answered. Candidates must provide CONCRETE EXAMPLES that demonstrate how they meet the education requirement and the experience factors listed in the essential qualifications. Please note that it is not sufficient to only state that the requirement is met or to provide a listing of current responsibilities.
⭐FOR EACH EXPERIENCE CRITERIA, please provide the following MANDATORY information:
1️⃣ Name of the department or organization where the experience was acquired;
2️⃣Title of the position occupied and the period(s) in which you performed the functions (M-Y to M-Y); and
3️⃣Specific details of tasks or projects demonstrating how the experience was acquired, and provide concrete examples.
❗❗ FAILURE TO CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE IN THE SCREENING QUESTIONS HOW YOU MEET THE SCREENING CRITERIA WILL RESULT IN THE REJECTION OF YOUR APPLICATION.
❗❗ CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE SOLICITED FOR INCOMPLETE OR MISSING INFORMATION.
The Competency “ability to communicate effectively in writing” will be assessed through the screening questions.
✅Candidates may be assessed using one or more of the following tools: standardized tests, written exam, interview, simulation exercise and reference checks.
✅ Volume management strategies may be used. Should there be a large number of applicants, please note that asset qualifications could be invoked. A random or top down selection of candidates may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process. A cut-off score may be used in the determination of those to be given further consideration in the assessment process.
✅ All information obtained throughout the selection process, from time of application to close of process, may be used to evaluate candidates.
✅ We will communicate with applicants by e-mail. Applicants who apply to this selection process must include in their application a valid e-mail address and ensure this address is functional at all times and accepts messages from unknown users. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CANDIDATE TO ENSURE ACCURATE CONTACT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED AND UPDATED AS REQUIRED.
✅ Your responses to the screening questions will be used as the primary source in determining whether you meet the screening requirements. If you do not fully complete the screening questions as instructed, you may be screened out.

✅Candidates will be required to pay for their own travel (including travel for assessment purposes), and may be required to pay for their own relocation expenses.
