Quebec Regional Office (QRO) prosecutors and agents conduct federal prosecutions in all judicial districts of Quebec, except Gatineau, Pontiac and Labelle.QRO prosecutors are primarily involved in major prosecutions, including those relating to organized crime (particularly drugs and money laundering), economic crime, national and border security, anti-corruption, capital market fraud, and regulatory statutes such as the Fisheries Act, the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and many others.During your articling placement, you will receive personalized support from your Articling Principal, who will answer your questions and provide you with the tools you need to meet your objectives. Preference will be given to veterans first, followed by Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of jobs located in Nunavut or Yukon. For positions located in Nunavut, qualified Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement will be appointed first. For positions located in Yukon, qualified Yukon First Nations will be appointed first, followed by qualified Indigenous persons.
