About the position
Duties
As an Administrative Officer (Office space planning and accommodation projects), you will participate in the design and planning of workplace environments. You will analyze requirements, prepare space plans, and develop functional and innovative design solutions. You will coordinate project implementation while ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.

Intent of the process
❗The intent of this process (job advertisement) is to staff unilingual and bilingual positions on an indeterminate basis in the National Capital Region.
A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be established to fill current and future staffing needs. This pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions within Transport Canada.
📍The office is located at Tower C, 330 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
Operational Requirements
Willing and able to work overtime on short notice.

🌟EDUCATION
✔Successful completion of a post-secondary education program from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in Interior Design or a related educational field (ex Technician in Architecture)

🌟EXPERIENCE
✔Experience in preparing interior layouts which includes furniture plans, constructions drawings and determining finishes or colours.
✔Experience in the planning and designing of office spaces using Auto CAD.
🌟KNOWLEDGE
✔Knowledge in preparing cost estimates and managing a project budget.
